STATUS QUO fans craving a heavy vinyl fix to go with the upcoming tour delirium are being frustrated by a dispute of obscure nature between the boys and their record label, Phonogram. Francis Rossi says the album is called 'As It 'Appens' but when asked whether the dispute was artistic or financial replied "Yes". That is until plied with cups of very sugary coffee which loosened his tongue enough to let out a notion that the company are somehow testing out how the band depend on record sales and promotion to fill concert halls the length of the land. Well, clearly it's had no effect at all on the faithful - but then it doesn't sound a very likely explanation for the clash of wills. So what gives chaps?
