In their 13 years on the boards Status Quo have evolved into the Kings of the Power
Chord. Hard-hitting, hard-driving and hard-rocking, their musical policy is simple - the
boogie, the whole boogie and nothing but the boogie.
Reviled by the critics for their simplicity - "First we were called lamebrains" said Francis Rossi - Quo carry on regardless. With their high status and their long series of successful albums they're not bothered.
