Quo play second fiddle to Queen
VETERAN rocker Rick Parfitt is ever so slightly miffed at playing second fiddle to Queen.
Rick's newly formed Status Quo - who have a No. 11 hit with Rollin' Home - are "special guests" at Queen's sell-out concerts next month, one of which will be screened later by ITV.
He tells me: "It feels a bit strange not being the main act.
"But we've got to start somewhere now we're together again. And we can't really turn it down.
"Besides Queen are a great bunch or blokes."
The Quo's new line-up - it still includes Francis Rossi - have been warming up in Europe in preparation for the vast audiences at Wembley and Knebworth.
But the new lady in Rick's life, Patti Beardon, is staying at home.
