Life's a holiday for Quo rockers

VETERAN Status Quo rockers Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt flash sunny summer smiles as they remember how they said hi-de-hi to each other for the first time - in a holiday camp.The super-group founders slipped into Butlin's jackets and celebrated the 25th anniversary of the meeting with a pair of revelling Redcoats.
And Rick, 41, told how they bumped into each other as 17-year-olds at Butlin's in Minehead, Somerset.

He said: "They were great times.
"I was with a cabaret band called The Highlights and one night I heard Fran's rock band The Spectres playing next door. I checked out the row, introduced myself - and the rest is history>"
Quo are recreating the old times next month when they return to the Minehead Butlin's - now renamed Summerwest World - for a silver jubilee gig.
