Rockin' all over the world
..or at least Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham and London

STATUS Quo rocked their way into the record books yesterday in a whistle-stop tour to beat them all. In a sensational climax to their 25th anniversary celebrations, Quo played FOUR gigs in under 12 hours.

Planes, helicopters and fast cars made it possible. All while fans in Sheffield were still buzzing to the sound of Rockin' All Over The World, Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt and pals were off to Glasgow.

Then it was back to Birmingham - and on to London for last night's memorable finale.

The 800-mile "Rock Till You Drop" spectacular raised £200,000 for children's charities. And at Wembley Arena last night, Quo were receiving a special award from Guinness Book of Records chief Norris McWhirter.
