Quo quiz
THERE was this young lad who, in the mid-Seventies, looked pretty cool in his denim flares and waistcoat. He was however, unaccustomed to the ways of the music bizz and had never bought an LP. In fact the last slice of vinyl he had bought was 'Daydream Believer' back in '68 when he was a member of the Monkees fan club.
So he thought it was time that a couple of quid should be forked out in order to obtain the pleasurable sounds committed to vinyl by Status Quo.
Although I swapped 'Blue For You' for a vodka and tonic a few years back, I have never forgotten my first LP purchase, so to cut the waffle it gives me great pleasure to present this week's Popscene compo.
Status Quo are now back in gigging shape with Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt adding new members to complete their line-up. The first sniggle to come out of this renaissance is 'Rollin' Home' and yours truly has three 12" copies of the top 20 hit to give away.
So, if you wanna slice of vinyl fill the form in below etc.
Quiz question: Name Status Quo's long serving keyboard player
