STATUS QUO may have come off the road, but they're still much in evidence in the recording studio. Their latest single, released this weekend by Vertigo, is their version of the Dion classic 'The Wanderer' - and it's coupled with a Rossi-Frost composition titled 'Can't Be Done'.
There's also a new book about the band published at the end of this month - written by Bob Young (their ex-tour manager) and John Shearlaw, it's a collection of anecdotes, stories and unseen photos, and it's called Again And Again (Sidgewick & Jackson, £7.95).
