Swiss date is too hot for Rossi
STATUS QUO star Francis Rossi told last night how he almost died on stage.
Rossi, 38, collapsed from heat exhaustion as the veteran band finished a concert in Zurich, Switzerland.
He said: "It was the most frightening thing I've ever experienced. I thought I was a goner.
"I felt short of breath, my vision was blurred and the next thing I remember was waking up with men in white coats trying to put me on a stretcher.
"I kept trying to get up, but my legs gave way beneath me. I didn't know where I was."
