Quo's second big outdoor concert - Milton Keynes

STATUS QUO, whose farewell "End Of The Road Tour" seems to be continuing indefinitely, have added another final date to their schedule! It's another open-air event - this time at the Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday, 21 July. So their concert at the Crystal Palace Football Ground the previous Saturday, which was to have been their grand finale, now becomes their penultimate live performance.

The band have been prompted to slot in this last date because of the phenomenal response to the tour, and they've chosen Milton Keynes because it's readily accessible from all parts of the country — off the M1 at Junction 14. Several other bands will be playing on the bill, all special guests of Quo, and details of these will be announced shortly. Gates open at 12 noon, and the show starts at 3pm.

Tickets are priced £10, and they are available now at agencies throughout the country - in fact, there are over 80 different ticket outlets, far too many to list here. But the chances are you'll find tickets advertised at the leading agency in your own city or town. Quo have added a third night at Birmingham National Exhibition Centre, in response to the deluge of applications received - the extra date is 27 May. They've also made a couple of amendments to their Irish schedule - on 15 April, they've cancelled their Limerick show and now play a second night at Cork City Hall; and in Belfast, instead of playing Mayfield Leisure Centre (16 and 17), they now appear for one night only at Kings Hall on 17 April.
