Dissappointed

FOR MONTHS now I have been wanting to write a fan letter to Status Quo. First I wrote to some address I found in an old magazine and got a reply from a person called Sandy Brown. She/he said that Status Quo do not have an appreciation society. Later on, I wrote to Phonogram and they told me that Status Quo do have a fan club and I should write to the aforementioned Sandy Brown.

Trouble is — I don't want to write to Sandy Brown, I want to write to Status Quo. — Rosemary Auty, Abbotts Langley.

At least, the solution to your burning question is revealed. Status Quo don 't have a fan club any more, although the mysterious Sandy Brown appears to have been involved with such a venture at some time in the unfathomable past.
