A MASSIVE reissue campaign of over 30 albums - many of them original from the likes of The Kinks Status Quo and David Bowie starts this month.
Pye Records' entire '60s catalogue has been thoroughly overhauled by PRT, who rose from the ashes of Pye's bankruptcy a few years ago.
Status Quo's reissued history goes back beyond the group to their holiday camp roots for 'Quo-Tations Volume 1' featuring The Spectres and Traffic Jam.'Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo' 'Spare Parts' and 'Status Quotation' find them floundering in pop psychedelia while 'Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon' and 'Dog Of Two Head' build their boogie style from basement level. 'Quotations Volume 2' mops up the singles including 'Down The Dustpipe' and 'In My Chair'.
