WHO NEEDS CRITICS WHEN YOU'VE GOT STYLE!
NOW I know a lot of people don't like Status Quo, but myself being more sane than most, really appreciate their music and workrate (which is second to none in anybody's language).
Their last three albums and singles have all reached the dizzy heights of the charts, most of their concerts are sell-outs but still music papers knock the bleeding arse off them!
The BBC can't stand them at all - for three weeks they have been in the charts but have we seen them on "Top Of The Pops" yet? Have we hell. Groups like Cockney Rebel and Showaddywaddy get an appearance as soon as they enter the charts, special recognition goes to Cliff Richard who doesn't need to be in the charts, he gets on anyway.
Still, who's complaining if "Break The Rules" gets to number 8 without "Top Of The Pops". Just wait till they are on. - Quo freaks, Lincoln.
