WHO'S BOOZING WHAT!

CHEERS! It's our favourite social vice. Almost everyone likes a drink every now and then.

A swig is quite enough for most, but others need a crate. We've asked the stars what tipple turns thern on and how much they choose to booze...

EastEnders star Anita Dobson, who plays Queen Vic landlady Angie Watts, wouldn't touch the beer She serves to her screen regulars.

...likes the coffee-based Tia Maria liqueur.

Another big drinker is Status Quo's Rick Parfitt who goes for Margueritas, a strong cocktail of Cointreau, tequila and lime juice.

He regularly drinks up to ten a night!

And Fish, lead singer with rock group Marillion, lives up to his name in the drinking stakes.

He thinks nothing of downing eight pints of beer a night and once got so drunk on a German tour he spent the night walking round the underground railway system trying to get out!

Session

Rock newcomer Tony James of Sigue Sigue Sputnik has one rule when it comes to drinking - never before a performance.

But once he's off stage he can tuck away three bottles of best champagne in one session.

The Sun's Page Three girls love a tipple but they have to be careful to keep in shape.

Samantha Fox likes a glass of white wine, on its own or a spritzer, but rarely takes more than two glasses in one evening.

She says: "I can't afford to get tiddly when I'm working and I really don't like drinking too much.

"Still, I never say no to the odd glass of champers at celebrations."

Curvy Carron Martin loves white wine so much she makes it herself.

She says: "I like two or three glasses a night and I find the wine I make myself much more potent than the bought stuff."
