obviously been re-issued to cash in on the enormous success of Lonnie's Chrysalis re-emergence. It sounds just the same as it did all those years ago on the Fifties answer to Stewpot, the Uncle Mac Show - a soon come, soon gone giggle. Emile Ford was our substitute for the wispy delicacy of the likes of the Five Satins. As usual in the Fifties, the Yanks got by far the better side of the deal. Quo have always been a bit on the stodgy side when it comes to rhythm but this brace of earlytimes Canned Heat rip-offs now sound better to these ears than they did then. Pure hard rock pop for then people.
