Shanghai join Quo
STATUS QUO's British tour, opening at London Hammersmith Odeon tomorrow (Friday), is now completely sold out. The band this week confirmed that the support act on all concerts will be Shanghai, the outfit featuring Mick Green on guitar and in which Cliff Bennett is making his comeback to the rock business after a five-year absence. Quo themselves will be augmented by keyboards player Andy Bown for the duration of the tour, and they have added an extra date at Cardiff Capitol on March 14, although this sold out within hours of the box off opening a few days ago.
