QUO: LAST CONCERT DATE FOR THE FANS
STATUS QUO have lined up a special outdoor concert at London's Crystal Palace after an "overwhelming" ticket demand for their final tour.
They appear at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace F.C., London SE25, on July 14. The show runs from 4 pm to 10.15pm.
Tickets for the "End Of The Road Tour" went on sale in the UK on February 18. A Status Quo spokesman said: "Queues started forming at box offices all over the country the day before.
"Fans slept out in sub-zero temperatures in an effort to ensure that they got tickets, while fans in Brighton were so disappointed that the band weren't playing their town that they raised a petition for another South England date. At last count there were more than 4,000 signatures. The Crystal Palace show comes in direct response to this incredible loyalty and fervour."
Two more dates, at Birmingham and Bridlington, have also been added to the tour schedule.
