The following article, entitled "Martin Taylor goes on Tour with Status Quo", appeared in the Jewish Chronicle on 30th March.
"Accountant Martin Taylor has been "rockin' all over the world' with pop legends Status Quo in a bid to raise thousands of pounds for the charity Cancer Backup.
The lifelong Quo fan has clocked up some 30,000 miles in a sponsored tour of 42 gigs in nine months - from Wollongong to Wembley.
Mr Taylor was diagnosed with bowel cancer 6 years ago. He says, "I wanted to raise cash for people like the wonderful team who had helped me through my illness. Friends kept telling me to do something like walk the Great Wall of China - or do a bike ride - but that sounded like too much hard work."
The 54 year old father of two from Buckhurst Hill in Essex describes his world tour as the adventure of a lifetime."Revisit the March 2007 event list
The March edition of Classic Rock magazine contained a Quo "Buyers Guide", compiled by Dave Ling.
The "Superior Albums"(ones that helped seal their reputation) are listed as "Piledriver", "Quo", "Blue For You" and "On The Level".
The "Essential Classics" are "Hello!" and "Live!".
The "Good" (those 'worth exploring') are "Rockin' All Over The World", "Never Too Late" and "Heavy Traffic".
Unsurprisingly the "Avoid" category contains just "Famous In The Last Century".Revisit the March 2007 event list
