Produced by Francis in his home studio and recorded by Status Quo engineer Andy Brook, Lee O'Brien's "This Is Me" album contains twelve all-original compositions, with four of the titles being co-written by Francis. Lee provides lead vocals, guitar and drums, while Rossi contributes lead and bass guitars, keyboards, and backing vocals throughout.
With Lee's own initial pressing of the album sold out, Barrel And Squidger Records released a newly-expanded version including "It's Not Real", a further exclusive Francis Rossi co-composition recorded with Francis in April 2022.
An album launch gig - with a backing band featuring Andy Brook, Quo's drummer Leon Cave and Leon's "Middlenight Men" band-mate Nick Hughes - took place at London's iconic 100 Club on 9th July.
The album is exclusively available from Barrel And Squidger Records as a tri-fold digipak CD and two different colours of ULTRA-limited cassette (claret and blue).

The band started their set under clear blue skies and finished it in the dark. Quo's official Facebook page shared a couple of short clips of this gig, taken from the side of the stage, from Caroline and Wild Side of Life. The full gig can be found on YouTube.
Quo were scheduled to perform at the Karjurock Festival in Finland on 23rd July and made their way to the festival site. During the afternoon before their scheduled evening performance, though, the band decided to leave and didn't perform. The following official statement was made about the band's decision by their manager, Simon Porter.
"The band is very upset to disappoint fans, but the festival organisers totally failed to comply with the band's rider and staging requirements, which form an integral part of the contract. As such, it was impossible for the band to perform to the standards both they and their fans would expect."
