3rd - Francis interview with Adam Dowling (BBC Radio Kent)

Francis gave a 15-minute online interview with Adam Dowling on BBC Radio Kent on 3rd February. It was basically abother promo for his forthcoming talk tour and the interview was introduced with a short medley of "Rockin' All Over The World", "The Wanderer" and "Down Down".

Francis mentioned that he still practices on his guitar every day. Talking about the Summer 2024 tour, he said it was "really enjoyable" and the Margate Dreamland gig was great (though he was very unimpressed by the band's backstage facilities!). When the interview turned to his talk tour, Francis said "I walk on and my gob gets going".

Adam then specifically called out gigs locally relevant to his Kent audience, including Epsom, Guildford, Dartford, Folkestone, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Bromley and Aldershot.

21st - Francis interview on "Afternoons" with Nicola Meighan (BBC Radio Scotland)

Francis was interviewed by Nicola Meighan on her "Afternoons" show on BBC Radio Scotland on 21st February.

The ?-minute interview was introduced using a medley of "The Wanderer", "Whatever You Want", "Down Down" and "In The Army Now".

Nicola thanked Francis for including so many shows in Scotland on the forthcoming tour and the rest of their chat was general promo and discussion about the format of the show.

He recounted the usual story about writing "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" in the toilet and, of course, used his "insecure little show-off" line (more than once). "Live Aid" was discussed at length and Francis said he "couldn't wait to get off".

Francis sneaked in snippets of "Blessed Are The Meek" and "Someone Show Me Home" on his acoustic (the latter segueing into playing the album track itself), as well as "Hey Joe" (leading into playing "Pictures of Matchstick Men").

27th - Francis interview on Lorraine (ITV, UK)

Francis appeared briefly on the popular morning TV show, Lorraine, for an interview with host, Lorraine Kelly.

It was yet another well-timed promo piece for his forthcoming talk tour, but he seemed in good spirits and looked well. He answered the usual questions (about "Live Aid", etc.) and spoke fondly of the experience of doing his new style of shows (as opposed to Quo, what he referred to as "the day job").
